Details the history of the early pioneers who were the first to study Aikido in
the UK from its inception
in 1955 by the legendary
Budo master Kenshiro Abbe Sensei.

The lineage is traced from OSensei through Kenshiro
Abbe Sensei until the arrival of TK Chiba Sensei
in 1967.

It is considered that the first 12 years were the most traditional dynamic and colourful.

Many of the early Japanese and British pioneers are now deceased.
They will never be forgotten
